First question, how'd I go without Hello Rockview for so long? It's a fantastic record, especially for driving in the car with the music up. Good stuff.

New Alkaline Trio... I only got it yesterday, and haven't given it a proper listen, but so far, as always, I dig it. I like that they are a little evil.

The Wallflowers... Pretty good record. I got the DualDisc one, and the DVD side has some pretty funny video of Jon Lovitz interviewing the band and then the band "rearranging" some of their bigger songs. Definitely worth a listen if you dig good simple rock and roll. Nothing groundbreaking (that I've heard so far) but nothing real shitty either. The same can't be said for the new Stones.

Ryan Adams... Thank God for the Cardinals. They made Ryan stop being a little baby bitch and write some more good music. Thank you Cardinals, thank you.

Also, the Chicago Bears are awesome, and half of the teams in the NFL lose their first game, so at this point, 0-1 isn't too bad. Optimism bitches, optimism.

Today is Sarah's 26th birthday. Happy Birthday, baby. This weekend has all kinds of fun built in...

Tonight- Pick up Sarah's car. Drive around with the top down. Get dinner.
Tomorrow night- Go to drive-in theater. Watch Wedding Crashers and 40-Year Old Virgin.
Friday- Not work. Get registration all set-up for Sarah's car. Back adjustment at the chiropractor for me. Go to Rockford. Eat delicious food. See friends hopefully.
Saturday- Hang out in Rockford. More delicious food. See Daxx's new band and The Wandering Sons (and Her Majesty's Ship?) at some place that has "Chaps Night." Definitely see friends.
Sunday- Last chance for delicious food. Come back to Oshkosh. Do whatever we want.
Monday- Not work. More of doing whatever we want.
